BORN FROM A PASSION
Late Bolivia began as a personal project by Oscar Ordoñez, who in 2009 saw the opportunity to create a tour operator driven by a deep passion: sharing Bolivia with the world. Convinced that travelers from all corners of the globe can discover and feel what he feels for his country, he built Late Bolivia with a clear vision: Bolivia is the heart of South America.
The name Late Bolivia reflects this idea. In Spanish, late means “heartbeat”, and for Oscar, the country has its own pulse—an energy felt in its landscapes, culture, and people. In English, Late Bolivia is understood as “Bolivia’s heartbeat,” and in Japanese 年々ボリビアの鼓動 (Bolivia no kodō) conveys the same essence: a country that vibrates and inspires.
Today, Late Bolivia continues to grow with that spirit, offering authentic experiences that allow every traveler to connect with the true heartbeat of Bolivia.
